“We’ll pick you up from your hotel between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. and drive for approximately 2 hours in our tourist transport to the town of Mollepata. Along the way, you’ll enjoy scenic views of charming towns like Izcuchaca and Limatambo, as well as breathtaking panoramas of the impressive Salkantay snow-capped mountains.

Upon arrival in Mollepata, we’ll have a delicious breakfast, and then continue our journey for another 45 minutes to Soraypampa.

From there, we’ll begin a 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake, where you’ll be mesmerized by the stunning natural scenery surrounding this turquoise gem. We’ll take our time to explore the area and soak in its beauty before hiking back to Soraypampa.

Once back, we’ll relax with afternoon tea, followed by a hearty dinner. We’ll spend the night in cozy rustic cabins, ensuring a comfortable and peaceful rest.

We’ll start the day early with a delicious breakfast before setting off on a 3-hour hike to the Salkantay Pass, which sits at an altitude of 4,650 m (15,367 ft). From this incredible vantage point, we’ll take time to relax and soak in the breathtaking scenery, surrounded by the towering snow-capped peaks of Salkantay (6,217 m / 20,717 ft), Humantay, and Huayanay, as well as glacial rivers and serene mountain lakes.

Leaving the main trail, we’ll take a 30-minute side hike to visit the truly stunning Salkantay Turquoise Lake, a hidden gem nestled in the Andean highlands. After admiring its beauty, we’ll return to the main trekking route and hike back to our starting point, where a hearty lunch will be waiting for us.

Finally, we’ll board our tourist transport back to Cusco, arriving between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m
